Explanation:

u = -15 cm

f = 10 cm

v = ??

by lens formula

1/f = 1/v -1/u

1/10 - 1/15 = 1/v

(3 -2)/30

30 cm = v

therefore image is real inverted

magnifying power = 1/f (m)

= 100/10 = +10D

Answer:

ho = 6m

u = -15 cm

f = 10 cm

1/v - 1/u. = 1/f

1/v = 1/f + 1/u

= 1/10 + 1/-15

= 1/10 -. 1/15

= 3-2/30

= 1/30

v= 30 cm

Real and inverted image.

m= hi/ho = v/u

hi = v(ho)/u

= 30(6)/-15

= -2(6)

hi = -12 cm
