1 /v + 1/ u = 1/ f ............(1)

where v is image to mirror distance, u is object to mirror distance and f is focal length,

1/v + 1/10 = 1/ 5

or v= 10 cm

magnification = -v/u = -10/10 = -1 ; image size is same size of object, real and inverted
