An object of height is 4cm is kept at distances 12cm in front of a mirror it's virtual and erect image of size 1.5cm is obtained find the focal length and nature of the mirror also draw the ray diagram

h2(height of image)=1.5cm

u=-12cm

h2/h1=-v/u

1.5/4=-v/-12

1.5/4=v/12

v=4.5cm

1/f=1/v+1/u

1/f=2/9+1/12

1/f=11/36

f=36/11

f=3.2cm
