An object of ht 4cm placed in front of real view mirror of focal length 20cm at a distance of 15cm. Find the image distance & ht of the image.​

Object height, h0= 4.0 cm.

Object distance, u= 25.0 cm.

Focal length, f= 15.0 cm.

To find:

Image distance, v= ?

We know that;

Mirror formula: 1/F = 1/V + 1/U

For concave U, V and F are negative, SO

1/-15 = 1/V + 1/-25

1/V = 1/-15 + 1/25

1/V =( 25-15 ) / -375

V= -37.5 CM.
