Given :-

Length of an object is 20 cm.

Width of the object is 40 cm.

Thrust exerted = 50 N

To find :-

The pressure exerted on the object.

Solution :-

Area of the object = Length*Width

⇒Area = 20*40

⇒Area = 800 cm²

⇒Area = 800/10000 = 0.08 m²

Now, we know,

Pressure = Force/Area

⇒Pressure = 50/0.08

⇒Pressure = 625 N/m² = 625 Pa
