An object of mass 1 kg moving with a speed of 50 metre per second .the object is bought to rest in 0.05 second by an external system. find the change in momentum of the object and the average force applied by the external system

change \: in \: momentum = m(vf - vi)

m = 1 \times (0 - 50)

change \: in \: momentum =  - 50newton \: second

2)

average \: force =  \frac{mass \times velocity}{time}

avg.force =  \frac{1 \times (50 - 0)}{0.05}

avg =  \frac{50}{0.05}

average \: force = 1000N
