An object of mass 10 kg is dropped from a height of 5m above the ground. Show that the total energy of the object ato 5m and 2m is same.(g=10m/s square). What happens to the energy when object touches the ground??

see at the highest point ie at 5m the body or the object will have only potential energy as its velocity initially is 0 therefore appy
mgh at this point the energy will be 500joule .
at 2 m the velocity it will attain will be given by
 \sqrt{2gh}
and the h will be 5 m an then apply kinetic energy equation.
