Given m = 10 kg
h = 15 m
Therefore at halfway s = 15/2 = 7.5 m
u = 0 (consider it as falling from rest)
a = 9.8 (falling freely under gravity)
s = ut + ¹/₂at²
∴ t ≈ 1.237 s
v = u + at
v = 12.124
Therefore
K.E = ¹/₂ * m * v²
K.E = 734.9 J
h = 15 m
