object, gives it a speed 2 m/s in opposite direciton. The force acting on the object is -

Vf= -2m/s

Vi= 10m/s

accleration= Vf-Vi/t

-2-10/4

-3m/s²

F= ma= 10*-3m/s²= -30N  B IS RIGHT ANSWER
