Mass of object, m=100kg; initial velocity, u=5ms−1; final velocity, v=8ms−1; time, t=6s

Initial momentum =mu=100×5=500Ns

Final momentum =mv=100×8=800Ns

Force exerted on the object

F=tmv−mu=6800−500=6300=50N

Mass of an object: 100kg

Initial velocity of the object is: 5m/s

Final velocity of the object is:. 8m/s

Time is: 6 seconds

Initial momentum is: p = mu

p = 100kg×5m/s

p = 500 N

Final momentum is: p = mv

p = 100kg×8m/s

p = 800 N

The magnitude of the force exerted on object :

F = ma

Where, m is mass and a is acceleration

F = 100kg×1/2m/s^2

Now you must be thinking how the acceleration is 1/2m/s^2Because a = v-u/tSo, acceleration will be 8m/s-5m/s divided by time I.e. 6 secondTherefore when you will calculate the acceleration you will get as: 1/2

Now, coming back to our question

F = 50 N

Hope it will help you much.
