An object of mass 100 kg is accelerated uniformly from a velocity of 5ms-1 to 8ms-1 in 6s. Calculate the initial momentum and final momentum of the object. Also find the magnitude of the force exerted on object ​

Initial momentum=mass*initial velocity=(100*5)=500kg m/s

Final momentum=mass*final velocity=(100*8)=800 kg m/s

Force=Rate of change of momentum

Force=m(v-u)/t

=100(8-5)/6

=100*3/6=50 N
