An object of mass 100 kg is accelerated uniformly from a velocity of 5 m/s to 8 m/s in 6

seconds. Calculate the initial and final momentum of the object. Also find the magnitude of

the force exerted on the object.​

Answer:

initial velocity=5

final velocity=8

initial momentum=500(mu)

final momentum 800(mv)

acceleration=8-5/6=1/2m/sec

f=ma

=100*1/2=50N

mu means mass multiply initial velocity

mv means mass multiply final velocity
