initial momentum =
1000kg * 5m/s = 5000kg. m/s
final momentum =
1000kg * 8m/s = 8000kg. m/s
force = m*a
a = (v - u) /t
= (8 - 5)m/s / 6s
= 3m/s / 6s
= 0.5m/s^2
F = m * a
= 1000kg * 0.5m/s^2
= 500N
