Here \: is \: the \: answer \: of \: your \: question

According to question we have given,

m = 100 kg

u = 5 m/s

v = 8 m/s

t = 6 s

Initial moment = ?

Final momentum = ?

Force = ?

Now,

Initial momentum = m u

= 100 × 5

`\textbf{= 500 kg m/s}`

Final momentum = m v
= 100 × 8

`\textbf{= 800 kg m/s}`

Now,

Force required = Rate of change of momentum ÷ time taken

[Rate of change of momentum = final momentum - initial momentum]

= 800 - 500 ÷ 6

= 300 ÷ 6

`\textbf{= 50 N}`
