Answer :

Mass of object = 2 kg

Velocity = 8 m/s

We have to find momentum of the object.

_________________________________

◈ Momentum of body is measured as the product of mass and its velocity.

  • P = m × v

It is a vector quantity having both magnutude as well as direction.

SI unit : N s or kg m/s

⇒ P = m × v

⇒ P = 2 × 8

P = 16 kg m/s

Given :

  • Mass (m) = 2 kg
  • Velocity (v) = 8 m/s

To find :

  • Momentum (p)

According to the question,

 \star \boxed{ \sf \purple{p = mv}}

Now,

We will put the value according to the formula

 \sf{ \:  \:  \:  :  \implies2 \: kg \times 8ms {}^{ - 1} }

\sf{ \:  \:  \:    : \implies16 \: kg \: ms {}^{ - 1} } \orange \bigstar

So,the momentum is 16 kg m/s...
