An object of mass 200 g throws with velocity 20 ms 1 and covers distance 500m. Find its acceleration and rate of change of momentum.​

u = 0

m = 200 g = 0.2 kg

v = 20 m/s

s = 500 m

to find : P = ? a = ?

solution :

v² = u²+2as

(20)² = 0 + 2(a) (500)

400 = 1000a

a = 400/1000

a = 0.4 m/s²

now,

P = M.V

= 0.2× 20

P = 4 kg m/s
