An object of mass 200 kg is accelerated uniformly from a velocity of 4 ms to 8ms-¹ in 4 second.calculate the initial velocity and final momentum of object.Also,find the magnitude of the force exerted on the object.​

Initial Velocity = 4 m/s

Final Velocity = 8 m/s

Time = 4 sec

Change in Velocity = Final Velocity - Initial Velocity

∆V = (8-4) m/s

= 4 m/s

Momentum. = ∆V x Mass

= (4 x 200 ) kg m/s

Momentum = 800 kg m/s

Acceleration = ∆V/Time

= 4/4 m/s²

= 1 m/s²

Force = Mass x Acceleration

= 200 x 1 N

Force = 200 N
