Given :-

  • Mass (m) = 250kg
  • Initial velocity (u) = 15ms-¹
  • Final velocity (v) = 25ms-¹
  • Time (t) = 5sec

To Find :-

  • The force(F) exerted on the object.

Solution :-

As we know that,

    {\boxed{\sf{a =  \frac{v - u}{t}} }}

[ Putting values ]

↪ \sf \: a =  \frac{25 - 15}{5}

↪ \sf \: a =  \frac{10}{5}

↪ \sf \: a = 2ms {}^{ - 1}

Now, we know that,

↪ { \boxed{ \sf{F= ma}}}

[ Putting values ]

↪ \sf \: F = 250 \times 2

↪ \sf \: F = 500N

Hence,

  • The force exerted on the object is 500N.
