W = mgh
W = 50 joule, m = 300g = 0.3kg & g=9.8 metre per second square.

50joule = 0.3kg \times 9.8 \frac{m}{ {s}^{2} }  \times h

solving this we get h = 17m

where W= work done
m= mass
g= acceleration due to gravity
h = height
