An object of mass 4kg at rest is pushed with a force 100 N for 5s . After 5 s magnitude of force is doubled for another 5 s find the displacement of the object in the given 10s

mass = 4kg

force 100N

for 5s

then twice of 100N for another 5 sec

so

F = MA

100 = 4kg A

100/4 = A

25 m/ = A

so by using s1 = ut + 1/2 at²

s1 = (0)(5) + 1/2 25 (5)²

s1 = 12.5 x 25

s1 = 312.5m

Now for another 5 s

F= MA

2(100) = 4A

100/2 = A

50m/ = A

so by using s2 = ut + 1/2 at²

s2 = (0)(5)+ 1/2 50 (5)²

s2 = 25 x 25

s2 = 625

Now total dispalcement = S1 + S2

total dispalcement = 312.5 + 625

total dispalcement = 1562.5m
