Initial momentum (p1)=m1*v1
=5*4
=20kg m/s
Final Momentum(p2)=m2*v2
=5*8
=40kg m/s
Force = p2-p1/t
=(40-20)/8
=20/8

Ans. The initial momentum is 20 kg m/s, final momentum is 40 kg m/s and the force is 2.5 Newtons.
