An object of mass 5 kg is moving with a velocity of 10ms-1. A force is applied that is in 20s,it attains a velocity of 25ms-1.What is the force applied?​

•Mass of the object(m)=5kg

•Initial velocity of the body(u)=10m/s

•Final velocity of the body(v)=25m/s

•Time taken(t)=20s

To find:-

•Force(F)

Solution:-

By Newton's 2nd law of motion,we know that:-

=>F=m(v-u)/t

=>F=5(25-10)/20

=>F=5×15/20

=>F=75/20

=>F=3.75N

Thus,the force applied is 3.75N
