\sf{\underline{\pink{Answer-}}}

  • The density of the object is 2.5 g/cm³

\sf{\underline{\pink{Given-}}}

  • An object of mass 50 gram has a volume of 20cm.

  • The density of water is 1 g/cm³.

\sf{\underline{\pink{Calculate-}}}

  • We have to calculate the density of object.

\sf{\underline{\pink{Explanation-}}}

\sf{\underline\green{Formula\:Used\:Here-}}

⠀⠀

\bigstar\boxed{\sf{\red{Density= \frac{Mass \: of \: the \: object}{Volume \: of \: the \: object} }}}

\longrightarrow\sf \: Mass \: of \: the \: object=50g

\longrightarrow\sf \: Volume \: of \: the \: object=20 {cm}^{3}

\sf{\underline{\pink{Putting\:the\:values:-}}}

\longrightarrow\sf \: Density \: of \: the \: object= \frac{50 \: g}{20 \: {cm}^{3} }

\longrightarrow \sf \:  2.5g/ {cm}^{2}

  • Thus, the density of the object is 2.5 g/cm³.

  • Since the density of the object is 2.5 g/cm³ is greater than the density of water 1 g/cm³. Thus, the object will sink in water.

Mass of an Object = 50 gm,

The Volume of an object = 20 cm

&

The Density of water is 1gm / cm3

So,

We Have to find the Density,

Density = Mass / Volume

Now putting the values

Density = 50 / 20

Density = 2.5gm / Cm^3
