an object of mass 50 kg is accelerated uniformly from a velocity of 4m/s to 8m/s in 8 s calculate the initial and final momentum of the object also find the magnitude of the force exerted on the object​

Explanation:

intial momentum p1 = mv1 = 50×4=200 kgms-1

final momentum = p2 = mv2 = 50 × 8 = 400kgms-1

magnitude of the force =f = ma

a = 8- 4 /8 = 4/8=1/2=0.5 ms-2 ,m= 50kg

now, f= ma = 50 × 0.5 = 25 newton .
