If the density of an object is more than the density of a liquid, then it sinks in the liquid. On the other hand, if the density of an object is less than the density of a liquid, then it floats on the surface of the liquid.

Density =

Hence, The object will sink.

Answer:

Mass of the object volume of the object We know that: Destiy =

Here Mass of the object = 50a

And volum of the object = 20 = c * m ^ 3

Now putting these values of mass of and volume of the object in the above formula,we get: Density fobject = (50g)/((20cm) ^ 3) = 2.5g / c * m ^ 3

Thus the density of object is 2.5g / c * m ^ 3

Since the density of object (2.5g / c * m ^ 3) i is greater than the density of water (1g / c * m ^ 3) therefore, the object will sink in water.
