An object of mass 60 kg gets the velocity of 50 metre per second in 10 seconds from rest . Calculate the required for applied on that object.​

Given:-

•Mass of the object(m)=60kg

•Initial velocity(u)=0 (as it was at rest initially)

•Final velocity(v)=50m/s

•Time(t)=10s

To find:-

•Force applied on the object(F)

Solution:-

By using the first equation of motion we get----

=>v=u+at

=>50=0+a×10

=>50=10a

=>a=50/10

=>a=5m/s²

Thus,acceleration is 5m/s².

Now,by Newton's 2nd law of motion,we know that----

=>F=ma

=>F=60×5

=>F=300N

Thus,the required force is 300N.
