The weight is define as the GRAVITATIONAL force .. thus due to less mass of the moon it's gravitational attraction is less that is why it poseses less GRAVITATIONAL acceleration thus less weight the weight of the object will decrease..6 times .

Its weight becomes 1/6th of its weight on the earth

Weight of object on earth =mass×10
=60×10
=600 N
Weight of object on earth =1/6 mass on earth.
= 1/6× (600)=100 N
