ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤIt is given that : A body of mass 7.5 kg applied force of 50N towards east direction and applied force of 150N towards west direction. We are required to find the acceleration in westward direction. Let's see the process. . . .
As we know that 150N force is applied towards west direction which is greater than 50N force applied in east direction. So, body accelerates in west ward direction .
According to free body diagram.
>> (west ward force) - (east ward force) = mass × acceleration
>> 150 - 50 = 7.5 × a
>> 100 = 7.5 × a
>> a = 100/7.5
>> a = 100/(75/10)
>> a = (100×10)/75
>> a = 1000/75
★
So, acceleration of the object is 13.33 m/s²
