An object of mass is 15 kg is moving with a uniform velocity of 8ms what is the kinetic energy

Kinetic energy possessed by the object = 1/2 × mass of the object × (speed of object)²

Here given ,

Mass of object = 15 Kg

speed of object = 8 m/s


∴ Kinetic energy possessed by the object = 1/2 × 15 × (8)²

= 1/2 × 15 × 64 = 45 joules

mass =15 kg

v = 8m/s

KE = 1/2mv^2

ke = 1/2 * 15 * 8  * 8

ke = 480 J
