An object of mass m has angular acceleration α = 0.2 rad s⁻². What is the angular displacement covered by the object after 3 second? (Assume that the object started with angle zero with zero angular velocity).

Given,
Angular acceleration , α = 0.2 rad/s²
time , t = 3 sec

we have to find angular displacement covered by object .
Use formula, Θ = ω₀t + 1/2 αt²
Where, ω₀ is the initial angular velocity
∵ ω₀ = 0 , t = 3 sec and α = 0.2 rad/s²
∴ Θ = 0 × 3 + 1/2 × 0.2 × (3)²
Θ = 0.1 × 9 = 0.9 rad

Hence, angular displacement , Θ = 0.9 rad
