Answer:

Mirror-Converging/Concave Mirror

focal length (f)= -12cm

height of object(h)= 2cm

u = -15cm

v = ?

height of image(h') =?

Mirror Formula,

1 = 1 + 1

f v u

1 = 1 + 1

-12 v -15

-1 = 1 1

12 v 15

1 = -1 + 1

v 12 15

1 = -5 + 4

v 60

1 = -1

v 60

1 = -1

v 60

By cross multiplication,

-1×v = 60×1

-v = 60

v = -60 cm

Magnification(m) = h' = -v

h u

m = h' = - (-60)

2 -15

m= h' = 60

2 -15

m= h' × -15 = 2×60

m= h' = 2×60

-15

m = h' = -2×4

= -8 cm

Hence,the image formed is real and inverted and is enlarged.
