Given:-

  • Height of object,ho = -4 cm

  • magnification ,m = 0.25

To Find:-

  • Size of image ,hi

Solution:-

Types of Mirror :- Convex Mirror

Convex mirror Always produce Virtual image

As we know that Magnification is the defined as the ratio of height of image to the ratio of height of object.

• m = hi/ho

Substitute the value we get

→ 0.25 = hi/(-4)

→ hi = 0.25 ×(-4)

→ hi = -1.00

Therefore ,the height of the image is 1 cm . here we can observe that the height of object is 4 times larger than the height of the image .
