An object of size 4cm is placed at a distance of 25cm from a concave mirror of focal length 15 cm. calculate the position and nature of the image.

What we r given with is that,
h= 4cm
u= -25 cm
f= -15cm ; because we r given a concave mirror.
Therefore, by using mirror formula,
1/f= 1/v+1/u
1/f-1/u = 1/v
-1/15 +1/25 = 1/v
1/v = -5+3/75
1/v = -2/75
v = -75/2 cm
v = -34.5 cm
Thus, the image will be REAL AND INVERTED and if u want it's magnification then simply apply the MAGNIFICATION FORMULA FOR A MIRROR
