An object of weight 5Kg is fully immersed in water. The volume of water displaced is 50ml, if 1ml water weighs 1g what will be loss of weight of a body immersed in water and why? ​

So a 5kg object has a mass of 5kg. The weight you associate with it is only relevant on Earth (under its specific gravity) and in fact really the kilogram-force measurement which is measured in Newtons (5kg x 9.8m/s2 = 49.2N). ... Commonly, it means the object weighs 5kg.
