According to question:-

Object is shifted away so total distance between mirror and object

=> 2+.5 = 2.5m

So:-

The distance of image from object

=> 2 * 2.5

= > 5m answer

Hence:-

 \sf \: \huge\boxed{Answer \: is \: 5m}

Used Concept In the answer:-

We know that the image formed by a plane mirror is same as distance from the objects and mirrors means image will be formed twice of the distance from the object and mirror.
