Distance of Object, u = -30cm

Distance of image, v = +15cm

By LENS FORMULA, we have

1/v - 1/u = 1/f

1/15 - (- 1/30) = 1/f

1/15+1/30 = 1/f

3/30=1/f

1/10= 1/f

f = + 10cm

f= 10/100 = 0.1m

Power of lense = 1/f(in m)

1/0.1
