Answer:

Image distance is 26.25 cm.

Explanation:

Object distance u = - 35cm.

Focal length f = - 15cm (concave mirrors have negative focal length)

Image distance v = ?

1/v + 1/u = 1/f

=> 1/v = 1/f - 1/u

         = 1/-15 + 1/35

         = 7-3/-105   (LCM of -15 and 35 is -105)

         = 4/-105

=> v = -105/4 => -26.25 cm.

Image is real and inverted since v is negative.

Position of image : Radius of curvature (R) = 2f = 2x-15 => -30 cm.

                               From the values of R, f and v, it is clear that the image is

                                formed between C and F.
