An object placed in front of a plane mirror is slowly moved towards the mirror at a rate of 1.5^-1 cm at what rate the object is approaching it's image forward in the mirror

if the object is approaching the mirror with velocity  u velocity of the image will be same  as that of object because at any moment the distance of the image  from the mirror is same as the distance of the object form the mirror.

So, Relative velocity of the object with respect to the image will be 2u because  if the object is moving toward mirror , its direction is taken as positive and image will move towards in negative direction .
