Given :

Object shape : L

Placed between two parallel mirrors.

To find :

Number of laterally inverted images out out first 7 images.

Solution :

It is given that the two mirrors are parallel to each other.

The shape placed between them is L.Infinite number of images forms when placed between two parallel mirrors.

We need first 7 images.

The first will be laterally inverted, second and third will be inverted of laterally inverted, same as object not laterally inverted next to should be laterally inverted. last must be inverted of laterally inverted hence same as object not laterally inverted.

So, 4 images out of 7 are laterally inverted.
