Answer:

The acceleration of the object will be 4m/s²

Explanation:

Initial velocity, u = 0m/s(Body starts from a state of rest)

Final velocity, v = 40m/s

Time, t = 10s

∴ Acceleration, a = Change in velocity/Time

           a = (v - u)/t

            a = (40 - 0)/10

             a = 40/10

            a = 4m/s²

Therefore acceleration of the object after 10s will be 4m/s².
