Distance travelled by the object in first 2 sec is given by...
S= ut + 1/2 at^2
20= 2u + 1/2 4a.....since t= 2....(1)
Now , for next 4 sec that is 2+4 sec = 6 sec the object travelled 160m it is given by ...
160= 6u+1/2 36a......since t= 6...(2)
By solving those equations we get a= 3.34m/s^2
And u= 16.6m/s
Now , velocity after 7src from the start
V = u + at
= 16.6 + 3.34×7
= 39.98 m/s
~ 40m/s....
