Given:-

  • Initial velocity of object (u) = 0m/s

  • Acceleration of object (a) = 5m/s²

  • Time Taken by object (t) = 4s

To Find:-

  • Final velocity of the object (v) .

Solution:-

By using 1st equation of motion

⟹ v = u + at

putting all the values which is given above

⟹ v = 0 + 5 × 4

⟹ v = 20m/s

Therefore, the final velocity of the object is 20m/s.

Additional Information !!!

Some equation of motion are

⟹ v = u +at

⟹s = ut +1/2at².

⟹ v² = u² + 2as

Here,

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

a is the acceleration

s is the displacement or Distance

t is the time taken

Qᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ :

➥ An object starting from rest travels with an acceleration of 5m/s² what will be the velocity after 4s?

Aɴsᴡᴇʀ :

➥ The final velocity of the object (v) = 20 m/s

Gɪᴠᴇɴ :

➤ Acceleration of the object (a) = 5 m/s²

➤ Time taken by the object (t) = 4 sec

➤ Intial velocity of the object (u) = 0 m/s

Tᴏ Fɪɴᴅ :

➤ Final velocity of the object (v) = ?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :

From first equation of motion

➝ v = u + at

On putting values

➝ v = 0 + 5 × 4

➝ v = 0 + 20

➝ v = 20 m/s

Hence, the final velocity of the object is 20 m/s.
