Answer:

v=u+at

v=0+5×3 ( bcz u is at rest so its velocity is 0)

v=15 m/s

Question :-

An Object starting from Rest travels with an Acceleration of 5 m/s^2. What'll be its Velocity after 3 Seconds?

Solution :-

We have been given,

Initial Velocity, u = 0 m/s  (as the Object Starts from Rest)

Final Velocity, v = 'x' m/s

Acceleration, a = \bold {5 ms^{-2}}

Time Taken, t = 3 Seconds

By using the First Equation of Motion (Equation of Velocity - Time Relation), we have -

\boxed {\bold {v = u + at}}

\begin {aligned} v & = 0 + (5 \times 3s)\\\\& \Rightarrow 0 + 15 \\\\ \bold v & = \bold {15 ms^{-1}} \end {aligned}

∴ The Final Velocity of the Object is v = 15 m/s
