An object starting from rest travels with an acceleration of 5m/s . what will be the velocity after 3 seconds

Sho2002: 15 m/s
Sho2002: V=u+at
Sho2002: u=0,a=5,t=3
Sho2002: Got it ?

HERE'S THE ANSWER..

_______________________________

♠️ As the object is initially on rest , so the initial velocity ( u ) will be zero.

⏺️ initial velocity ( u ) = 0

⏺️ acceleration ( a ) = 5 m / s^2

⏺️time ( t ) = 3 second

⏺️ Final velocity ( v ) = ?

♠️ Using first equation of motion

✔️ \underline{v\:=\:u \: + \: a.t }

=> v = 0 + 15 × 3

=> \boxed{ v\:=\:15\: m/s}

GiveN :

  • Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s
  • Acceleration (a) = 5 m/s²
  • Time interval (t) = 3 s

To FinD :

  • Final velocity

SolutioN :

Use 1st equation of motion :

⇒ v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + 5 * 3

⇒ v = 0 + 15

⇒ v = 15

➜ Velocity after 3 seconds is 15 m/s
