an object starts from rest and is uniformly accelerated so that its speed is 20m/s after 20 sec .it travels at this speed for 60 sec and then bought to rest by uniform retardation in 10 sec. sketch the velocity time graph and deduce the following .(i) acceleration (ii) retardation (iii) total distance travelled .

   \huge\underline{\mathbb{ \red{Answer:}}}

 \implies \: 50

 \huge \underline{ \mathbb{ \red{Explanation:}}}

 \orange{( i ) Given,}

speed = 60 m/s

Time = 20 sec

speed = distance / time

60 = distance /2060×20 = distance

1200 m/s = distance

 \orange{(ii) Given,}

speed = 40 m/s

Time = 30 m/s

speed = distance / time

40 = distance /3040×30 = distance

1200 = distance

The total distance travelled

 \implies \: 1200+1200</p><p>= 2400 m/s

The total time taken

 \implies \:  20 +30</p><p>= 50</p><p>
