An object starts from rest and moves with a constant acceleration. It travels a distance of 800m in

40s. Find the acceleration. Find the force acting on it if its mass is 500Kg.​

initial velocity= 0m/s

distance= 800m

time= 40s

mass= 500kg

now,

s= ut+1/2 at^2

or, 800= 0*40+1/2*a*(40)^2

or, 800= 1/2*a*1600

or, 800= 800a

or, a= 800/800

therefore, a = 1m/s^2

then,

force(f)= m* a

          =500*1

           500 N
