An object starts from rest and moves with uniform acceleration. If it travels distance S1 in first 2 second and distance S2 in next 2 second. Then find relation between S1 and S2​

As we know the the Time taken to cover distance S1 and S2 is same and acceleration is uniform then the relation between S1 and S2 is-

u=0

a=a

t1=2

t2=2+2=4

So,

S1=ut+1/2*at^2

S1=0+1/2*a2^2

S1=8a..............(1)

S2=0+1/2*a4^2

S2=32a

distance travelled in next 2 sec

S2-S1=32a-8a=24a

So the relation of S1 and S2

S2=3S1
