if object has constant acceleration then

dv/dt = a (a is constant)

dv=adt

42-0 = a× 5

a= 8.4m/s²

Answer:

3. 7/3 m/s^{2}

Explanation:

Given:

Final velocity: v = 42km/h = \frac{42 * 1000}{3600} = 11.67m/s

Time : t = 5 s

Initial velocity: u = 0

Acceleration: a = ?

v = u + at

a= \frac{v-u}{t}

a=\frac{11.67-0}{5}

a=2.33m/s^{2} = 7/3m/s^{2}
