an object starts from x=0m & s=0s.It moves with a constant acceleration of 2m/s^2 along the x-axis.what is it's average velocity between time 1s & 5s ?

S = ut + at^2/2

u=0 (as body starts from rest)

therefore, s = at^2/2

4 = 2*t^2/ 2

t = 2 second

16 = 2*t^2/2

t = 4 second

average velocity = average distance / average time

= (16-4)/(4-2)

= 6m/s
