An object starts moving from origin with a constant acceleration along a straight path.Draw its distance time graph.How does it differ from distance time graph of an object moving with constant velocity​

If a body starts to move from origin with an acceleration a then the x - t graph will be a parabola open towards the x axis you can refer to the attachment no.1

for the graph . The equation of this parabolic graph is

X = [at^2]/2 .......................{1}

While x - t graph for an object moving with constant velocity is a linear graph with equation

X = ut. .................................{2}

Note that both equations are modified version of x = ut + [at^2]/2

In equation 1, u = 0 &

In equation 2 a = 0.

b) To find the distance from the velocity time graph you just find the total area under the curve but if you have to find displacement then case will be different.
